Quan Lan is an islands in the Bai Tu Long Bay and the outermost one in the island system of Halong Bay. The total area of Quan Lan Island is 11 sq km, with 2 villages (Quan Lan village & Minh Chau villages).
Along the two sides of the islands are many long sandy beaches covered by forests. Moreover, coming Quan Lan, visitors will have great chances to experience the delicious seafood, enjoy less touristy beaches and interact with friendly local people.
How to get to Quan Lan island, there are some routes for you but the best one is Hanoi – Halong (Bai Chay port or Hon Gai Port) – Quan Lan:
- From Hanoi to Halong, it takes 3.5 - 4 hours drive
- From Halong to Quan Lan Island, it takes 2.5 hours on speedboat (Going throught scenic Bai Tu Long Bay).
Hotel in Quan Lan Island: it is quite untouched here so there is only a few hotels and guest houses which is almost for local tourists.some good hotels can be: Ann Hotel and Minh Chau resort.
What to do in Quan Lan island: Don't expect much except scenery, clean and clear beaches. You also can take a bike, tuk tuk around the beach and villages
