We have just spent 17 days on a trip of a lifetime through Vietnam and Cambodia. Thank you Martin for planning our trip which was jam packed full of history and culture. It was truly go go go but we wanted to see as much as we could and we did. We saw sights that you only imagine are real and experienced things we will remember forever we. We fished with the locals, had trips on The Mekong visited temples and museums, and rode in Tuk tuks we made new friends that we will cherish forever, ate and drank way too much.
So the trip went like this... we arrived in beautiful Hanoi Vietnam a little cool but we knew it was winter. We visited museums and walked around a lake seeing the sights, we went on a walking food tour all I can say is yum yum yum then we saw a water puppet show and walked through the night market. The next day we went on a cruise overnight on Halong bay and visited islands and explored caves that were breath taking, had a cooking class and carved vegies into flowers. We visited Hanoi prison where American soldiers were held and a spectacular cathedral. Then flew to Hoi An where we fished with the locals in a round bamboo boats, floated through the mangroves and learnt about many traditions. We went to a restaurant at night called seedlings and the beautiful waitress gave us Vietnamese lessons which was fun and got us by with the basics. We went to My Son temple just beautiful but sad to see the destruction from war. Had clothing made in Hoi An amazing a pure wool coat overnight custom made. WOW. Visited many restaurants and had loads of massages. Then we flew to Ho Chi Min City wish we had more time here, we went to Mekong Delta, a floating market, watched locals make coconut candy, yum. rice wine and rice pop which is like popcorn very yum. Visted Cu Chi Tunnels and got to go in them, then travelled by bus across the boarder to Cambodia now that was an experience... finally after 8 hours arrived in Phnom Phen.. We visited the Killing fields and the Genocide museums prepare yourself for that one I cried the whole time. Then to shake it off retail therapy at the central market and finished the day with a cruise on the Mekong. Then flew 1 more time to Siam Reap were we visited many temples including Ankor Wat truly amazing cities within cities. so on our last full day which just so happens to be our wedding anniversary we are sitting by the pool resting and sipping cocktails...and that sums it up.. So thank you Martin and Go Asia Travel we had an amazing time wish we had more days but loved every minute and we will be back.

Booked Go Asia through our hotel. Managed to get two spots on the Halong Bay trip the next morning. We were looked after all day by Hung (Mike), who was an absolute treasure. Kept us informed on everything from start to finish! A long day for everyone but completely worth it. Thanks to Hung and the team for making it such a special day for us :)

We did a 3 day/ 2 night cruise in Halong Bay in early December. I booked it through Go Asia (Ms Ngoc aka Ruby) was our contact. Go Asia booked the cruise on Sealife cruises, 2 nights in the Pearl Hotel in Hanoi (a upgrade) going and returning from cruise and all transfers. The package was great and ever component was perfect. Support was provided throughout and Ms Ruby helped with sorting out the various cruise options. They take the worry out of visiting Vietnam. Top Marks all around.
Ck my reviews of Sealife cruises and the Pearl hotel for more details.

Miss Nga from GoAsia was brilliant. She constantly kept in contact with us and our tour was enjoyable, visited a range of attractions, and was exceptionally well organized. All we had to do was turn up! We are very greatful for her assistance. We visited Hanoi, Halong Bay Tam Coc, Hoi an and Ho Chi Min. Hotel and food was great. This tour was exceptionally good value as the hotels, most meals, transfers and tours (including admission prices) were all included. Purchased via Scoopon. Thanks for the wonderful experience.

We have just arrived home to Melbourne after 2 fabulous weeks in Vietnam. We did the North to South tour with GoAsia travel. We decided to customise our tour to include Sapa and a few extra days in Hoi An. Our agent Nga Nguyen was able to arrange all changes to suit us and booked us into great hotels in Hanoi (Tirant), Sapa (Sapa Lodge), Hoi An (Vinh Hung Riverside Resort) and Saigon (Grand Silverland). Train travel to and from Sapa from Hanoi, Internal flights from Hanoi to Danang and Danang to Saigon. At every place we had a well-informed English speaking guide/driver waiting to take us to our next destination and the meals included were plentiful and of very high quality. We had a couple of minor issues which were resolved by Nga immediately. We felt completely at ease in a very foreign country and we would highly recommend Nga Nguyen and GoAsia Travel for your next trip to Vietnam.

One Day trip to Halong bay
We had the 1 day trip booked through our hotel with Nick, a tour guide from Hanoi.
The whole trip is good especially the tour guide. He has very good knowledge of Vietnam and Halong bay.
During the trip, We had lunch on the boat, then kayaking and the cave. The only
thing that i dont like is that it takes almost 4 hours on the bus to get to Halong bay. And the
road condition is not good, quite bumpy actually. But in short, for those who dont have
much time, 1 day trip is enough to discover the beauty of Halong bay

We went on the 10 night/11 day tour of Vietnam - and were most impressed with the concept that Go Asia has put together. The published itinerary provided exactly what it described.
We had all the benefits of insider knowledge to ensure we got great accommodation, lovely meals, easy transfers and a well balanced mix of seeing the highlights of each place - with plenty of down time to do our own thing. It provided the trip we would have planned ourselves - at better cost and without the trauma of trying to actually do it!
Our 'to go to' person was Anthony Tran and he was amazingly efficient and determined that all went well for us. The moment he learned that there was a hiccup in our accommodation in Hi Ch Minh (booked for 2, instead of 3 nights) he had it rectified - and generously provided an evening dining cruise on the Saigon River as well.
Genuinely, this company was exceptional - and we cruised, biked, swam, walked, dined, haggled, over-night trained (!) and generally enjoyed much of what Vietnam has to offer.
